Our Journey

Craving Curries was founded by three visionaries — Vijay Sharma, Rahul Sharma, and Vishal Sharma — who share a deep passion for authentic East Indian cuisine and hospitality. Vijay's culinary journey began at the world-renowned Taj Hotels in Delhi, where he trained under master chefs and perfected the art of Indian cooking. After relocating to Winnipeg, Vijay helped establish the first location of the iconic Clay Oven restaurant before the Sharma family launched Craving Curries — a place that truly reflects their love for food, community, and the authentic flavours of India.
